Welcome back to “Slick’s Killer Decks!” Two killer decks in one day? Talk about lucky! Since the previous entry focused on the “Wampa Beat-Down” I thought that I should also detail the “Angry Ewok Flood.” Without further ado, here is the deck!

Volume 0, Deck 02: “Angry Ewok Flood”

//// Deck Construction ////////
Deck Type : Hero
Character : “masteryoda”

Fight Stack : 12x – “Many Angry Ewoks Have I” (signature fight card)
Draw Stack :
1x – “The Force” (equipment)
1x – “There is no try…” (signature effect)
25x – “Angry Ewok” (character)

//// Strategy ////////
Reveal your character card, “masteryoda”. When this card is revealed you are allowed to play “The Force” directly from your draw stack. Because “masteryoda” is a Jedi master with the Force as his ally (and a powerful ally it is!) the deck building rules do not apply!

Continue the game as directed in the rules by shuffling your opponent’s deck. When the opponent tries to shuffle your deck, play “There is no try…” directly from your draw stack. This effect remains in play until your opponent can prove that he does not try. While this effect is in play, any action your opponent tries to make is immediately defeated (because there is no try).

With your opponent unable to perform any actions, you will immediately gain control of the drop. Place the top three fight cards from your fight stack face down on the table and then reveal them one by one. “Many Angry Ewoks Have I” is +2 for each “Angry Ewok” in your draw stack. It also does damage equal to the number of “Angry Ewoks” in your draw stack.

The next step is obvious: your opponent cannot defend against your flood of “Angry Ewoks” and you win the game. Don’t panic if your opponent should somehow manage to negate the effect of “There is no try…”. Your “Many Angry Ewoks Have I” fight cards should easily be able to overwhelm your opponent’s defenses. Congratulations!

NOTE: Because “masteryoda” is immune to “Post Count” this is the only known deck which can defeat the infamous “Wampa_Dan” / “Post Count” strategy. Use this to your advantage!

//// Known Weaknesses ////////
This is a solid deck with very few weaknesses. The only decks that could cause problems are: anti-Ewok decks, quick-play decks which win on or before the first turn (“Wampa Beat-Down” excluded), and the infamous “George Lucas” card (the presence of “George Lucas” and related cards seem to slowly cancel out most of masteryoda’s awesome force powers).

That concludes this edition of “Slick’s Killer Decks!” Play hard, have fun, and win! See you next time!

Don’t worry. I’m working on more, but I’m going to try to space them out. I have one ready to go and ideas for a few more. :)
