Will recruiting at conventions have any type of complications for the gamers always looking for goodies?

Complications? I bet conventions would be a great way to get new players into the game and help you get your 10%. Just walk around handing out flyer’s with your name on it. Better yet, for those goodie hunters, toss in some cards. Maybe buy a Kilo before heading to a conventions and just make little bags with a few cards (the ones you don’t need of course, heh,) stick them with the flyer.

Great so now we have gangs, kilos, and we hand out baggies at conventions(should we call them dime-bags, 10 cards each we don’t need), ok thats pushing it, still thought it was funny. But in all seriousness handing out cards and getting support at conventions is a great idea.

If this is going to successful, I believe conventions are the way to go. This time of year there are so many of them going on. I think giving out “dime bags” and maybe just sit down in the floor and play a round would be a great attention getter.

Well I was just joking about dime bags. But if we were to create blind grab bags and sell them they would be
Dime Bags = $10 worth of cards Dub Bags = $20 worth of cards
And the free card or couple card package could be a Hit
Dont we just love drug references? lol

like I’ve said before, yelling out some gang references would defiately get some attention, and they say any publicity is good publicity, but maybe it isn’t smart to go looking for trouble

Rofl,you own.
We don’t have conventions in Greece (sad face).Unless being on a 200 m2 (square meter) space crowded with all sorts of people, and games are limited one-per-table cos of space is named a convention.

lol good point Fuzen. It think that would be a good idea though. Any crowded space full of gamers is prime hunting for new recruits

If you can get permission from the convention they will usually let you hold official demos which they will promote (i.e. they put it on the scedule). I’m a Dealer at conventions and you would be suprised how few gamers actually go through the dealer’s room (at most conventions, not all). The way to go is someone stays in the gaming room all day and giev samples to the people who try the game.
