can mentors get access to some images to use on pamphlets and websites?

I think that is a great idea, if the community will be responsible for the majority of the viral marketing, it seems reasonable that Decipher could have some basic Fight Klub graphics that could be used in a viral marketing. Of course it would need some sort of basic legal notice for what it can and cannot be used for, but still basic raw file materials should be available for use in our viral marketing.

yes that would be key, myspace and yahoo group sites etc will probably be the way many people attract members but im no artist, any materials provided by decipher would be very instrumental

well i checked through some of the final details of this sites terms of use and it says we can use up to 6 pics unmodified from this site…on our webpages, but im mainly concerned about flyers and say youtube videos etc, i’m an independent film maker and have the know-how of a lot of viral marketing strategies but really just want the go ahead from decipher first…maybe after the countdown and mentor applications are closed we (mentors) may be sent some more details or a press kit to work with?

personally i cant see how using deciphers images to promote the game (as a mentor) can be bad as far as in order for you to profit from it, decipher will aswell, and thats of course saying the images or names of fight klub arent used in an offensive way etc

i suppose once mentor applications are approved said mentors will get a better understanding of how to go about this viral marketing….as a film maker i find the possibiltys very interesting…...

well heres a quote from Decipher answering the question:

“Once we get through a few of those things, we will be launching the new website and you will be released to market your handle and the game everywhere. I’ve also seen questions as to whether we will have some basic art that will be approved for you to use in various ways, and the answer is yes. It will start simple with packaging and logos and grow over time on a “downloadables” section of the new website.”

I’ve been very bored in the last hour or two, and as such have repeatedly refreshed these forums. Every time, there’s at least one new post, if not two or three.

Your posts started off as useful, but have grown to the point of pointless. I mean, look at what you just said. The fact that YOUR presskit is YOUR deck has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with a Decipher released presskit to advertise the game. Do us all a favor, and stop upping your post count. Contribute, or stop.
