You are invited to see the packaging for Fight Klub…

Energy stones come free with every Kilo of “One.”

The Energy packaging was inspired by an idea contributed by a Founding Mentor. It’s a small tuck-box that holds all the energy stones. When the cards are removed from the Kilo, the Energy tuck-box fits neatly inside together with two 40-card decks. Everything you need to play in one package to carry around. Colors? What you see are the colors of the packaging for “One” and “Two”. You probably can’t see it in these images, but the expansion set number is superscripted on the ends of Kilo above the Fight Klub name. To get a sense of scale, make a stack 120 cards, and you will see the size of a Kilo. Each Kilo is sealed in an outer shipping carton. It feels very solid and weighty in your hands. They are very cool to hold.

The Black Beauty packaging holds 11 cards (3 free gameplay cards) and folds over the stack very similar to an envelope. It comes sealed with a sticker and is free with every 3rd Kilo of “Two.” The promo gameplay cards are rare, so you only need one of each. There are no ultra-rares in Fight Klub. The remaining 8 cards look something like this…

Write your handle in the space provided, and hand the card to a friend or someone for whom you just demoed the game. Players, Mentors, Founding Mentors and Connectors are also free to duplicate this art to handout in other ways.

Yeah. Grey Kilo = One. Grey package next to it = Energy Tokens from One. Other Kilo = Two, and the package next to it is the BB for Two.

I love all the packaging. For once, I won’t feel like a pack rat for saving it… (somewhere around here, I’ve got a thousand or so LotR CCG booster wrappers in a bag together…)

Well, a Kilo of One will hold 2 40 card decks AND the energy box. As long as you only carry one sleeved deck and energy, or two sleeved decks with no energy, I think you’d be fine.

Of course, we don’t know how tight the boxes are. It’s possible you could “squeeze” and get them to fit, but we wouldn’t want to do that if it risks bending cards. (by squeezing to fit, I mean 2 decks with sleeves AND energy in a single kilo)

What I want to know, is how big (in card#) are the energy boxes? They look more ideal to holding a single deck nicely in your pocket, but if a kilo has 120 cards, and will hold two 40 card decks and an energy box, then an energy box is about 40 cards. Meaning that unless it is paper-thin, it won’t HOLD 40 cards.

I like how little things like making kilos deck-boxes and having energy IN a kilo of One, and even the two-decks + energy for demoing format of kilo-storage, are all ideas I remember discussing on the forums. Even if Decipher thought of it first, you know there’s FM participation in there. (if not suggesting it ourselves, then at least confirming it as a good idea before Decipher ever asked us what we thought about it)

Warren’s already admitted that the “Energy in a Box in a Box” idea came from the forums. Another example of how they’re listening to us.

The energy box doesn’t come in one, it’s shipped alongside it. The actual kilo box only contains the cards and rulebook.

Once the cards are taken out, the energy box will fit inside one along with 2 40 card decks (taking the place of the other 40 cards).

Seriously, everything looks spectacular, but the most awesome part of it all is the energy box. Anyone remember who suggested the idea to begin with? And wasn’t the original idea to put dividers in the kilo to split it into thirds? It’s been too long now since I read it and my search skills are failing me.

Gotta agree with the minor concern over sleeves potentially being too big for the kilo box. If they don’t fit though, all is not lost, just get a plastic deck box that your sleeves do fit into and put the energy box into that. You wouldn’t be using the official box anymore but it would be an easy fix if you’re hard-pressed to use the sleeves with the thick colored backs while still making use of the convenient energy box.

You know what I’d like to see? Brochures. To give Connectors. That’d be sweet.

I agree slax, just like on the main page of wowtccg.com

Something we could do that isn’t quite as good but would still help, is a series of videos on youtube.com. I’d totally help make that if I had one other person to help me figure out how the heck to play…

They should get Brad Pitt or Edward Norton to speak those introduction flash clips…

Anyway I’m definitely gonna do somekind of training guide in german for my local players.

I plan on doing a YouTube spot when my cards come in.

Decipher has always had the nicest customers in the industry. (And the nicest employees, vendors, licensors, and partners as well.)

We are very fortunate.
