Shout out – I suppose I was late for the FM sign up so I want to hear from a local FM so that I can get in the swing of things right away!

Okay – there are supposed to be something like 5 FMs in the DFW area, yet I can’t get a single one to respond. Decipher have any interest in a new FM that would actually pay attention to what is going on. I located information on the game to late to originally apply, but it’s not like the game has even come out.

Sorry I am a coach and right now it is High School football time, so I haven’t been really active here. I live in Burleson, Texas.

Cool – so what’s your take on a possible respose to in the DFW area. From my expereince here thus far the region doesn’t seem to take to new games very kindly.

Actually I think the marketing method of this game may allow us to break some of the problems with the DFW area. As a recent transplant to the area I was disgusted by the lack of good stores, groups, etc for gaming; heck or an area this size not to have a dedicated game convention is pathetic. I’m looking forward to the release to see if maybe this game will generate some general interest in gaming as well as in itself.

We actually do have several such conventions – including Matt’s G-Kon which is coming up in November I believe. As for stores…it’s rough these days. We had a store in Mansfield for just over 1 1/2 years, however we had to close up shop as we couldn’t justify the 80 hours a week for both of us from our family based upon the lack of income from the business. Online is one of the biggest culprits for this. DFW has a very solid “pro” base of players and pros are not typically very good supporters of their local store.

Yo man, I am a FM from Irving. I was not on the origional FM list, and I suddenly got a email today after nothing since May, so had no idea I was a FM. Yay decipher emails getting lost.

I am going to target things like the comic conventions that come through here as well as the Anima convention.
I am still involved with Varsity High School Football now. I coach for the Everman Bulldogs and we are still in the hunt for a state championship!
Last year, we lost one game away from the championship, this year we are hoping to go all the way!
I still wear my “Fierce” shirt from LotR under my game shirt!
