You are on the cutting edge of a player revolution. This website presents you with an innovative way of empowering gamers through a new business vision and an exciting new multi-license trading card game called Fight Klub™.

There are some wonderful gaming experiences in the world today. Magic: the Gathering. World of Warcraft. Guitar Hero. Team Fortress. Star Wars Miniatures. We have great respect for the players of all games. Most new product launches try to convert players from one game or platform to another. Playing Fight Klub™ does not require that players give up their primary game. Quite the contrary, Fight Klub™ is designed to be a wonderful addition to your gaming lifestyle:
a 15-minute break between tournament rounds or a series of fast games among friends. Your current gaming community is a great starting point for your journey, but there is so much more....

During the last month, individuals from all over the world applied to become Founding Mentors of Fight Klub™. We are now in the process of reviewing those applications. While this phase proceeds, you are invited to learn about Fight Klub™ by exploring this website and creating a free account using the link in the navigation bar. You will be able to participate in discussions on the forums, and within a few weeks we will give your name to a Founding Mentor near you who can invite you into the Fight Klub™ community.

I've been a long time fan of Decipher, all the way back to ST:CCG 1st ed. From Star Trek, Star Wars, Wars (I even have the RPG books, the soundtrack, and the trailer!), Dot Hack, and even 'How to Host a Murder'. Welcome back Decipher!

I like the premise of Anachronism like Mike, Red 32 says ( and I wonder if he remembers me . . . Mike, it's Cat ) Regardless, I'm still a Star Wars junkie from WAY back and I still play to this day. I got the email, got excited and now I want to try and dangit I will try because I believe that Decipher can do it and will do it. So let's get behind them and make this game just as good as the others . . . if not better! Thanks, Enjoy! Cat

I may be critical, but I cannot wait to see what they put out. Decipher has made some great products, and I just wish I knew what Fight Klub was all about, not what Decipher is trying to do to revolutionize the genera.I really do hope they can pull it off, I really do. My fear is that it will turn into another SWCCG and have rules that start off easy and become overly complicated with each new expansion, enough so that after 5-6 people won't want to play because of it. The game premise, have 2 different people that we know and love/hate from tc/movies fight each other is a really cool idea. Who wouldn't want to see a predator vs terminator fight? Or what have you. I'm in, I just really hope they can pull it off. Knowing more about what the game is about IE mechanics and such would have been nice.

Matthew: I don't think Decipher even knows what the mechanics for this game are yet.

Well, I've always been a fan of decipher games, especially Star Wars, Trek 1st edition, and Lord of the Rings (Until the Dwarf decks became over powered in our groups....) I tried WARS for a while, but couldn't get folks as excited about it in the Fairfax area. I'll be willing to give their next venture a shot. : ) --Chris

So... it's a CCG... mated with a Ponzi/Amway setup? Interesting take on it, and I can see it working given that other CCGs work via online-only payments, but then, they're digital.. I have to admit, I'm interested to see if this concept can work in meatspace. As with any game, the system'll be key, and I'm definately excited to see what comes out of it... and hoping it's not just "Here's a generic Hero card; get your own screencap to put on it!"...

Looking forward to the next evolution of CCG/TCG. The new direction is intriguing and could be great. With the death of so many good CCG's it is nice to know that I can still get a fix from Decipher even if I can't rip open the traditional booster packs. Please keep the promos, foils, etc. going as that was always a nice touch. Wait, see, and try. Could be the best yet - or . . . .

Great business model i must say. thanks to the pyramid based concept, it's the players who will do the marketing for decipher, and since they have something to gain, they'll do it good. it's all up to the players really, if the game is good and the cards collectible (duh), the players will hook on and it will go from there. In my opinion, this can become as big as the beatles... Just being curious: who would win, "Winnie the Pooh" or "Bad liquid terminator"? ;-) Greetings from Belgium to you all

I just read aabout the game and was thrilled to see an idea I myself had come to life. I hope to be one of the promotors for this game in Sweden. My dream fight would be Alien Queen V.S. Steven Seagall. Or my mum vs Hannibal Lector. (Gotta get mum famous enough outside town *) ) The best thing this game could foster is a sense of belonging among people they miss so much today. Therefor the mentors should be people able to be good rolemodels and make people have tons of fun. GL HF P.Banck Sweden

STCCG 1st Edition was where it began, then Magic, Vampire and it would be good to see Predator Vs Kane (Blood Omen), and the ultimate rumble is the Batman royal gathering all enter the ring one man leaves. No holds barred it would be awesome. I also say Thundercats minus that annoying Snarf. Jason Bourne Vs Riddick. It's the good old drunk convo in the pub who will win out of a fight. Let the games begin... Kirk Vs Dr Who Tiamat Vs Wolverine Judge Dredd Vs Robocop Robojox Vs Megatron Freddy Vs Sponge Bob Animaniacs Vs Rambo I'll let you carry on the possibilites are endless

The game itself sounds pretty interesting and fun. I do think that online CCG gaming needs to be addressed though. I was very excited for this until I noticed it was not online. I understand its not easy to implement, and of course people will try to take advantage of it somehow, however I was just checking out the Chaotic gamesite, which is only online I believe, so obviously it can be done. I think it would do much better online because as people get older, free time disspears, or if its there, its at random times where its not possible to drive somewhere, not even knowing if you can play. Whether it be a 3rd party program or one by Decipher, I think that is the future.

I can';t wait for Fight Klub. As soon as I saw it, I was thinking "Reinventing the Trading Card Game?" Awesome!! the environment has become so stagnant, TCG's come and go, but Magic has stood the test of time. To a lesser degree, Yu Gi Oh, Pokemen and Vs System have been in the peripheries, but never really been picked up enough to be considered mainstream. Other card games have tried to be different, but people are too reluctant to change. I played both Star Wars and Star trek TCG, until no-one in my area played them anymore. As fun as online playing is, I much prefer to see my opponent and the look on their face when you top deck that much needed escape. I can't wait. tick...tick...tick

This isn't quite a pyramid scheme(the percentage earned for new signups doesn't get lower the lower down the chain you are, and I assume the person that signed you up doesn't get part of your signup earnings), but I am suprised that it doesn't legally border on being one.

Well, I've played Magic, LOTR, Star Wars, Young Jedi (briefly), Battletech, Jihad, Vs, and many others. I'll definitely pick up this game to at least try it out because of the great games, Star Wars and LOTR that they created in the past, even thought their support for their fans is really pitiful. They still owe a friend of mine, Travis $250 from LOTR a couple years ago, not to mention a bunch of other stuff we both ordered with our Decipher dollars that they just never bothered sending.

I've played just about every card game out there to date (including some obscure ones such as Middle Earth, and Ophelia). I've done alot of work with miniatures as well so I have a reasonable level of knowledge in games. Knowing Decipher's background for extensive games (*coughs* SWCCG), I think this could be a much needed addition to the gaming world. I need a game that takes less time to win and I think this could be it. Should be an interesting game to try out.

I very much welcome this new idea. Because it shows deciper still tries out complete new concepts. The only down site is the like the step from Star Trek ccg first edition to Star Trek ccg the second edition, they abandon the old concepts. When the second edition of STNGCCG was started all images of the first where removed from the site. Now the even removed the entire website !?!? I even emailed Decipher several times if I could get or find the original images to my big collection of the first edition STNG. I never got a response. This experience doesn't give me a good feeling about the original website... Decipher, if there still is a place or way to et to the images of the first edition of STNGCCG, I'm still interested !

I agree with MIKE, RED 32. A 15 minute card game is short, but it isn't meant to replace your current game unless you want it to. Very cool concept. I like the idea of the invitation-only, this is the first card game I've heard of where you can only start playing it if you get an invitation. Admittedly, I am unsure about different universes colliding in terms of characters, but it should be fan-fricking-tastic, or so I hope. Either way, I won't put my words out there until I've tried it. I'll definately try it, and who knows? If it is good I'll be promoting it everywhere I go :P!!

I am curious. I loved ST:CCG 1st Ed and SW:CCG 1st Ed, but was very disappointed in the "improved" later editions. This doesn't sound like a re-invention of those, more of a Cheapass Games mindset. Luckily I love those too, so I hope this works out. :-)

I miss Star Wars a lot. I recently got a few of my friends into the Star Wars mock up game, Wars. Some the the game play is awesome and familiar to Star Wars players. But space battles have much to be desired and the card "Two Pair" ruins the game unless you design your deck to get around the fact you will never have Battle Destiny. I made a Shi deck that is just that, but i don't think the tactics will last. On the other hand everyone is evolving there deck to deal with mine as apposed to "Two Pair", which makes me feel awesome.I look forward to Deciphers new game and i hope the play testers are good.

As a teacher who mentored numerous students into Star Wars and Young Jedi, you've created a tremendously hard sell in the education environment by linking your game to villainous underworld aspects right from the start. Fight Klub? Kilos? Gangs? I don't believe I'll be able to demonstrate this game to the school board as one student did for the SWCCG. Plus, we need more information about the cards themselves. What will the art be like? Jedi Knights had great gameplay and horrendous artwork that sank the game from the starting gate. How about a game demonstration? Is this just another form of that History channel fighting game—which had little going for it in the form of depth?

I'm concerned about Decipher's portrayal of their own game. It seems that they intend for their new CCG to be like Fluxx: a little knick-knack to play for fun when there's nothing else to do. This has never been my idea of what a CCG should be. I have preferred L5R over Magic, despite L5R's lack of overall popularity, precisely because I prefer deep strategy in games. Decipher has a long history of producing richly strategic games. Star Wars CCG, undoubtably among the top five TCGs ever made, made its players think for minutes about what to do during one's turn and for days about what cards to include in one's deck. I hope that Decipher isn't turning away from its history of producing highly strategic games.

I was also wondering if we become a mentor will we recive anything other than the 10%? Thst is cool enough but any specialty cards, sample packs to give out, credits on the site... things like that. I think the sample packs would be cool because it would give us, the mentors, a hand out to try and get gamers into it. Im thinking if we can get a few cards into peoples hands that would make them be like, cool i got Mr. Blonde's pistol... but now i need Mr. Blonde. Things like that. I know thats how i am with SWCCG, if i pull a character weapon im like, crap... now i need to pull the character and visa versa. I dont know just an idea.

I can't wait to see how this game will work, especially since I get the opportunity to be a founding mentor! LOTR TCG was one of my favorite Decipher games, unfortunately when I moved there weren't any people around to play it anymore...maybe this game will get my buddies a lot more interested in TCGs, plus, it's called fight klub, who can argue against that?!

I am quite interested in seeing how this is different than MTG and or other trading card games. I certainly love the appeal of games such as these and am rather excited to see a new one on the horizon.

I have played all kind of games in my life. Dephicer´s type of games from Star Trek, LotR, Star Wars, etc. Have always provided a much more complex and excitement way of playing than other games. I hope even though it might be short to play it is complex in strategy. I can´t wait to try the new game and know more about it!

In decipher;s defense, (And I spent a LOT on Star Wars and Star Trek CCG) when you deal with a licensed CCG, you have to realize that licenses are expensive, and the mass appeal of the game is usually limited to the popularity of the property. IE, now that the last LOTR movie is like 3 years old, the CCG wans't making much money. And theres only so many versions of Aragorn you can print before things get silly. As a longtime Star Trek CCG player, it got a bit ridiculous seeing all the versions of main characters. I think deciphers plan with Fight Klub is to have the best of both worlds, to have a game SYSTEM and SETTING that is totally proprietory, but use popular licensed characters. So, maybe the man with no name will go out of print in 2 years due to decipher losing licensing rights, but Fight Klub will go on. You can't have it both ways, its either licensed games or longevity.

Will this be a world wide release? I live in NZ. Apparently not alot of the cool things get here in the southern hemisphere. The development of this game seems promising. It'd be great if we could see some sample cards.

I'm interested in this, to be sure, but I'm still unhappy about the pricing. I wish the sets would come out twice a year instead of 4 times.

sounds like a new and interesting idea. should solve the problems that decipher's ccg's have been plagued with in the past, continuity. as a long time fan of swccg and the stccg(i too still have notebooks of the old ccg's)i look forward to a fresh new game that can compete with mtg. i hope it stays both available and competative, unlike the other ccg's and keeps average players involved with the game instead of just the die hard fans. however i would like to know why they are cutting out the critical small town shops, seems to me they could use the support of small hobby shops to keep interest and give players a place to converge and meet other new players. it sounds kinda foolish to think that everyone is able to just meet random people online and play with them.

Well, all deciphers games start off as a good idea, but since they are mostly based on movies and books, they kinda die out after a while. Though there are still 2 movies of Starwars lore which hasnt been added in Swccg. I personally would like to see that before anything else. But sure, this sounds awsome.

And i seriously wish wizards would hand decipher that licence that was really theirs not wizards and be nice if there was a swop place where gamers can exchange cards to complete the sets even if it is a reprint on the year of the card on the side ie 2008 instead of 1995 but same pic and info anyone agree with me and i agree star wars ccg was brilliant if only the cards were easy to get :-( Help please help x

A game where you can play anything you want and fight anyone you want, where what happens is not randomized. I've heard of this kind of game. It's called a roleplaying game. I'd love to see something like this, a roleplaying game, based on Star Trek. Wouldn't you, Decipher?
